We are seeking an Associate Optometrist to join our practice that shares our values of providing exceptional and compassionate patient care.

Confident and Self-Starter - You are confident in your abilities as an Optometrist but want to continue growing and learning. You value mentorship from an experienced Optometrist as you gain more experience, and you have a natural tendency to strive for more. You truly believe that hard work pays off.

Innovative and Growth-Minded – Growing a patient base and building your own specialty practice has always been something you’ve imagined for yourself. You value long-term practice ownership potential at Lake Views Eye Care and are motivated by Port Elgin’s rapidly growing local economy, which is very strong and has a high rate of generous private insurance coverage.

Collaborative and Flexible - You are a friendly, team-oriented, and meticulous problem solver who appreciates all aspects of being an Optometrist. You know that great things can only happen when we work together, and you appreciate that there are many ways to solve a problem. You have strong communication skills and a passion for the health and well-being of everyone in your care.

What You Can Expect:

You will work closely alongside the team at Lake Views Eye Care to create an impact by being the best Optometrist you can be.

• You will be provided with a roster of patients to start with as you continue to grow your own patient base.
• Focus your efforts efficiently by not splitting your time between multiple clinics
• Work in a beautiful and newly-renovated location.
• Enjoy a fully digital filing system (Optosys EMR) and paperless office processes.
• Benefit from a positive work-life balance. Don’t worry about working on weekends as we’re not open.
• You will have the opportunity to work towards long term ownership at Lake Views Eye Care.
