Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated optometry students for a summer internship position. This role will provide valuable exposure to clinical practices, patient interactions, and the day-to-day operations of an independent optometry clinic. Interns will work under the supervision of licensed optometrists and experienced staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the front desk with scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
• Learn to operate diagnostic equipment and assist with vision screenings and pre-testing.
• Adjusting and assisting with dispensing glasses
• Shadow professionals to gain insights into various areas of optometry practice.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an optometry program as a 1^st or 2^nd year student.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for patient care.
• Basic knowledge of optometry principles preferred.
