This is a part-time or full-tile on-site Optometrist role at EYEOLOGY - Optometry and Eyewear located in Stoney Creek, ON. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating eye conditions and illnesses, and prescribing corrective lenses or medications to improve eye health. The Optometrist will also provide consultation services and advice on eye care.

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our positive and community focused team in NW Calgary mid-late September. We are seeking an enthusiastic Optician or Optometric Assistant to join our team. Daily job responsibilities include: 

• Spectacle and contact lens sales: assisting patients in selecting the appropriate eyewear to meet their needs. 
• Booking appointments: Managing the appointment schedule to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Pretesting, visual fields and OCT scans: Conducting preliminary tests to prepare patients for their eye examinations as well as any additional testing required.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player, who has excellent communication skills and customer service experience. While experience in the optometric industry is an asset, we are willing to train an individual with the right personality and eagnerness to learn. 

We are hiring for a full time position with no evening or weekend shifts. Hourly wage is to be determined based on relevant experience. Incredible opportunity in beautiful Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island for a Full-time Optometrist in a very busy independent practice that was established in 1988. This opportunity is for both employment and future partnership and would begin August 1, 2024, or possibly July 1.

This position would be between our brand new location that is fully equipped with all the latest technology including: Spectralis OCT, Optomap, Humphrey Field Analyzer 3, Optilight IPL, and more and our wonderful downtown boutique location Island Optical & Eyecare.  The practice includes a large bright dispensary, dry eye spa room, and warm patient centered environment. We are also fortunate to be neighbors with a large ophthalmology clinic and future cataract surgical centre, making this an ideal eye center.

Our Optometrists have the support of 10-15 staff and your job would be to simply provide excellent care while they take care of the rest.

Compensation would include a guaranteed minimum salary along with compensation based on production, health insurance, Group RRSP, and a happy, comfortable work environment.

South Shore Eye Clinic has continually been on the leading edge of optometric services for both rural and urban Nova Scotia. We have fully trained and competent support staff including an office manager, optometric assistants, opticians and a contact lens fitter.
