Participate in comprehensive eye exams for all age groups, routine eye exams for diabetics and glaucoma or glaucoma suspects, emergency care, follow-up exams, treatment of eye diseases, such as myopia management and dry eye disease treatment, dispensing of eyeglasses, contact lenses and specialty therapeutic lenses.
Utilize and interpret results of advanced equipment, including NCT with pachymetry and IOP adjustment, digital refractor, slit lamp with photo system, topography, axial length measurement with dry eye evaluation (TBT and meibography); Zeiss OCT, Humphrey field analyzer, and ultra-widefield retinal imaging device (OptoMap).
Utilize EMR system.
Instruct and work with staff to dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses.
