The clinic is seeking an optometry and eyewear assistant. Here's what the role looks like:
- Greeting patients
- Opening and updating patient files
- Answering calls and emails
- Answering client questions or directing them to the best available information sources
- Schedule and confirm appointments and provide eye exam reminders
- Process payments, insurance claims, and produce cash reports
- Perform preliminary eye exam tests (e.g., field of vision, retinal photo)
- Analyze patient glasses
- Assist patients in their choice of frames and optical products under the supervision of the optometrist or optician
- Provide advice on the care and handling of contact lenses and optical products
- Verify, validate, and track supplier orders
- Manage credits and returns
- Ensure the order and cleanliness of the office
- Perform other related tasks

About Us:
Sea to Sky Optometry operates two busy private clinics in Pemberton and Lillooet—just 25 minutes from Whistler. We’re a high-technology practice offering Optometrists On Demand technology, which allows you to perform comprehensive exams and follow-ups remotely, making it easy to work efficiently across both locations.
We provide advanced dry eye treatments (IRPL), vision therapy, and specialty contact lenses. Our team is passionate, professional, and community-focused.
About You:
We’re seeking an associate eager to provide exceptional community eye care and cover a maternity leave starting mid-March 2026. You’re a licensed Optometrist (new grads welcome!) who thrives in a supportive team and values innovation and continual learning.
There is also an opportunity for the right associate to become a clinic partner.
