Practice flexibility, work-life balance, and guaranteed minimum income are waiting for you in Moose Jaw! Our growing office needs another full-time optometrist to join our team, with the option of buy-in partnership for those interested in ownership. You’ll have the ability to practice full-scope, independent optometry with flexible scheduling and no weekend hours!
We offer clinical mentorship and the opportunity for future partnership. Our office has modernized equipment (Iincluding Optomap, Heidelberg OCT, and many hand-helds), and a dedicated staff of CCOAs & opticians. There is the opportunity for those interested in specialized care to pursue their interests (i.e. remote mobile clinics, specialty CL fits, vision therapy, etc).
We use Optosys EMR, and are integrated with Otto for CL sales and Optify for online frame viewing. We have 12+ full CL fitting sets on-site and carry over 1000 frames in our dispensary.
This position comes with a guaranteed minimum of $700/day (seeing 10+ patients/day at least 4 days/week with 4 weeks holidays).
The "notorious" city is a popular tourist destination, offering all the amenities of a larger city with a hometown feel! Moose Jaw has a low cost of living (2-bedroom apartment rents for ~$1300/month) and high quality of life (~15 min drive anywhere in the city, Regina International Airport ~45 mins away). There are with multiple unique experiences available in sports & recreation (WHL Warriors Hockey, WCBL Miller Express Baseball), and arts & culture (Mae Wilson Theatre, Tunnels of Moose Jaw tours, Western Development Museum, Temple Gardens Mineral Spa & Event Centre). The community offers dozens of public & Catholic schools, as well as Ecole Ducharme francophone school, and the University of Regina is only ~45 mins away).
